A new entry garden in the works

Last year, the Arboretum at South sought a grant from the West Seattle Garden Tour for a new entry kiosk & communication hub. Just last week, the Tour held a party for recipients, where we received a $5,000 check for the project. This adds to a generous grant in the same amount from the Washington State Nursery & Landscape Association (WSNLA), to renovate the entry space, daylighting the area so we can engage visitors with events, news and information. The completed kiosk will be installed in the renovated entry garden. Look for a beautiful new welcome at the SSC Arboretum, under way this fall, thanks to generous gifts from the WSNLA and the West Seattle Garden Tour!
